About the Co-Founders

Amanda Spitzer, MS, BCBA, LABA

Amanda is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years of experience collaborating with public schools in the field of special education. She has served in a number of capacities, including senior consultant, special education teacher, home-based program supervisor, and program and systems development leader. For the majority of her career, Amanda worked in the public school services department at The New England Center for Children (NECC) where she held a director role within the department leadership team.  She worked with school administrators to address special education challenges and provide systems development consultation. Additionally, Amanda collaborated with school districts to create specialized classrooms and led teams of clinical supervisors/BCBAs and special educators who held roles within these classrooms.

This diverse experience has given Amanda a unique understanding of systems, collaboration with diverse teams, and leadership. She is skilled at bringing together professionals with different perspectives to work toward a common goal, with a focus on clear communication. With her strong background in behavior analysis, she makes data-driven decisions and measures the impact of interventions. Her experience leading teams has sharpened her skills in change management, professional development, and fostering collaboration. This background equips her to create systemic solutions focused on the needs of both students and the professionals who support them.

Amanda is dedicated to supporting educators in ways that enhance their job satisfaction, ultimately leading to a positive impact on students. Her focus is on finding solutions to challenges through scaling down, when possible. Her expertise ensures a data driven approach, complemented by compassionate communication and innovative, thoughtfully designed solutions.

Kelli Skiba, MSEd, BCBA, LABA

Kelli Skiba is a professionally licensed special education teacher with over a decade of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a focus on Communication Sciences and Disorders from Assumption University, as well as a Master’s degree in Special Education from Simmons University. In addition to her teaching credentials, she is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Kelli has spent the most recent 10 years of her tenure at the New England Center for Children (NECC), partnering with public schools across Cape Cod. Her experiences range from Special Education Teacher to Behavior Consultant to most recently a director at the leadership level.

These varied experiences have provided Kelli with a deep understanding of the expectations placed on teachers and administrators. She has seen firsthand the challenges faced at all levels and recognizes the dedication needed to create inclusive, supportive, and effective educational environments.

Kelli is passionate about helping students and educators reach their full potential and aims to bring joy back into schools. Her approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and a commitment to educational success. Kelli excels in communication, focusing on active listening and asking insightful questions to uncover the root causes of issues, leading to the development of effective solutions. She has a talent for identifying problems, generating solutions, and creating systems tailored to the specific needs and limitations of schools and districts. These skills allow Kelli to develop strong relationships with her clients and stakeholders, creating meaningful connections and effective collaboration. Kelli is deeply committed to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments where both educators and students can feel connected and supported.
